And we are half way through the year. Can we even believe it? When I realized yesterday that is was in fact Memorial Day weekend I was a little shook. but at the same time not surprised. I think I am getting used to the time just slippin slippin slippin into the future. You fell me? Seal does.
The week was a little hairy to say the least. The begining was good. The mr and I worked but managed to make dinner with Mark and Paul and take a little time for a hike. Then I went for a bike ride with Barb, we had lunch, I made her dinner. I made the first rhubarb pie of the season! and started the great deep clean of my studio which is still in process. We also caught, but then released, a ground hog (it was a baby and I couldn't move it yet, And now the whole family is munching away on all my perennials and are scaling the garden fence looking for a way in.)
And then, then I got my second dose of the vax. And I was fine, no, great, for about a few hours. And then I got a little tried and sore so I went to bed. And didn’t get out of bed for 48 hours because I was dying. Not really, but I thought I was. It was bad, so bad I guess that when the mr tried to talk me into maybe eating something I yelled at him and told him I hated vegetables (I don’t remember that). But yeah, A killer migraine (not a bad headache, a fucking migraine. I haven’t had one in a few years but man, if you know, you know), a fever, body aches, bucket by the side of the bed, you know, the whole nine yards. Then the day after that was a little better, as in the migraine was gone, just a really bad headache and I was able to leave my bed and able to eat a little, but I still felt like a trash can. And today. well not sure yet. I didi’t wake up feeling great but not terrible so we will see how the day goes.
So today I hope to feel increasing well. because it is 2 days before the first which mean apartment turnoves. The mr is mad working. Everyone and their mom always needs something done in the span of these 2 days plus we are trying to get a few things in ourselves plus paint an entire apartment by the tomorrow night too so yeah, nothing fun happening here for a few days, although painting an entire 3 bedroom apartment back to white (there are dark walls) in 8 hours has potential for fun. Or murder, or both. Ha!
