What a week. A good week but shit am I beat. The littles have been staying with us (their mother had surgery) so we have been feeding, schooling, and basically trying to keep a teen, a tween ,and a toddler alive for a long period of time. We have managed alright but yeah, tired as FUCK!
So yeah, that has been our week. And some other stuff but basically that. Besides keeping them alive and feed (they eat too much!), we have been doing art projects, cardboard construction of a “cat’sle (for Gigi of course), going for walks when it wasn't stupid cold out, and baking. The mr and I both have spent a fair amount of time sitting next to the toilet watching funny cat videos (potty training), trying to figure out basic math equations for school, and negotiating the hell out of every little thing for screen time. Oh the screens. I fucking hate them but I guess they are necessary, for school at least. And I am not going to lie and say I haven’t just given up a few times and let them completely veg out to whatever the shit is that they watch. So I could clean of course. HAHA!
And now it’s Sunday. Later today the mr and I are brining the littles back home and getting them settled in and ready for school tomorrow. Then I am coming home and spending the rest of the day doing laundry and cleaning my pigsty of a house. I’ll probably be cleaning late into the night. After that I am just going to sleep. I am already ready for bed. HA!
