Did you look at the calendar and also, like me, realize that it is just about April? Like holy shit! I am really hoping now that there is a glimmer of normalcy heading into summer that time won’t be so fleeting. Or you know, it will be and it’s gonna be Christmas before we know it. What can you do?
We had ourselves a week over here. Not a crazy week, but a week. First off, a frog jumped out at me when I was running through the woods. It was giant and green and startled me because is it time for frogs already? I am officially wearing no shoes, only sandal until the next snowfall because now my feet know freedom they will not go back. On that note, I packed most of the winter hats and shit away, or more like threw it all into a big pile in the closet that I will get to when I get to it. And I have some seeds that I am going to throw into the dirt in the next couple days. Spring my friends. It’s hear!
I did accomplish some things needed accomplishing. I glazed a shit ton of stuff (the mr helped me with that ). I spent some time in the studio with the clay. I cleaned up and summer-ized the back porch for summer living and then I opened lots of paperwork that needed to be opened in order to do the taxes. We had the the littles over for dinner where we ran the streets even though it was raining. I went to Megan’s and taught Anthony how to use his new coffee maker and then Megan and I went for a walk. Barb is always with us so you know, I fed her and we did stuff. And yeah, this and that and yada yada yada.
All in all, decent week.
It’s Sunday already which means I need to GET OUT OF TOWN! I am not sure where but basically anywhere will do. It is suppose to pour this afternoon so a long hike is looking less likely, but I don’t mind a little rain, so I am going to find a place to walk amongst the trees. Then I have baking to do. Bread and a cake for the mom.. It’s her birthday this week and I am doing food for her tomorrow because that is what she wants. And because I am the best child of hers. (All of us kids know if…HAHAHA!)
